Curator and researcher based in New York (US) and Bogotá (CO). He specializes in Modern and Contemporary art, with a focus on alternative modernities, cosmotechnics, spirituality, planetarity, and history of exhibition design. He holds an MFA in Visual Culture and Curatorial Studies from the China Academy of Art and a BA in Fine Arts from the National University of Colombia.
Moreno has curated, coordinated, researched and produced over 40 exhibitions. From 2022 to 2025 served as Curator at the Bogotá Museum of Modern Art (MAMBO), developing individual survey shows as well as comprehensive research on Latin American Modern and Contemporary Art in dialogue with the broader world. He has been a research fellow at The Museum of Modern Art’s Cisneros Institute in New York—where he published on Abel Rodríguez in MoMA Magazine—and at the Strelka Institute’s The Terraforming program in Moscow. His previous experience also includes curatorial and research support at the Institute of Contemporary Art and Social Thought (ICAST) in Hangzhou, China.
He has also conducted research on computation, climate change, AI and urbanism, participating in events such as the Lisbon Architecture Triennial (2022), Rotterdam Architecture Biennial (2022), VAC-Zattere (2022), Tijuana Design Week (2024), Austrian Animation Film Festival (2021), among others.
